After years of waiting for an effective medicine for hepatitis C genotype 4, my insurance has determined to exclude the recently FDA aproved Technivie and Ribavirin therapy, prescribed by my doctor. They say that I must try their preferred product Sovaldi based regimen. My doctor will appeal to the insurance company for this decision. I don’t know what to do with this situation.

Hi @alberto, have you had any success in getting access to Technivie and Ribavirin?
My doctor started the process of appeal request to the Health Insurance Company. They have 30-45 days to have a resolution.
