have microscopic neutropenic inflammatory bowel disease with watery diarrhea manged well on Lisda for three years. Now with flare of watery diarrhea x two months . Dr. increased Liada dosage and prescribed antibiotic Xifaxan for presumed small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. Almost completed antibiotic which is not suppose to have the side affect of diarrhea with no improvement in in diarrhea. Will be discussing treatment plan with physician soon. Any advice on what I should anticipate?

better. Colonoscopy and Gastro diD not find any changes from scopes 4 years ago. Still microscopic inflammatory disease. Recent lab work showed bladder infection. Antibiotic Septra did not worsen diarrhea. now diarrhea less watery and less frequent Still distressed by condition and no more suggestions from medical team.
