Yes, i used Reglan some time ago and it worked well for me. I do think the newer drugs work better but if they are not working for you it makes sense to try something else. Each drug has a different mechanism of treating the GERD so a trial is a good idea.
i'm on it now for 1 week and definitely doing better…but my doctor only prescribed it for 1 month!! What happened after the month?? I had a half tsp. of vinegar on my salad and felt the chest tighten…
It helps me with nausea that I get with migraines. I was told to stop Zofran due to possibly gut motility issues. I need to get further work up for chronic GERD and now I have Barrett's Esophagus.
I don't really notice any side effects from Reglan, but I don't take it that often.
